• Contact details you type into our quote form: first and last name, email address, and phone number.
• Pickup details: the street address, city, ZIP code, and county where the items are located, the type of sale, your target date, and any description you add.
• Photos you upload of the items you want us to look at.
• Communication preferences, including whether you opted in to text message updates about your pickup.
• Basic technical data: your IP address (used to prevent spam and abuse) and, if you consent to analytics cookies, standard usage data such as pages visited and approximate region.

We do not ask for and do not want financial account numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive identifiers. Please don't include them in photos or notes.

• To review your items and prepare a pickup quote.
• To contact you about that quote and schedule the pickup.
• To send text updates about your pickup, only if you opted in.
• To keep records of jobs we've quoted and completed.
• To protect the site from spam and abusive submissions.
• To understand which pages people find useful — only after you accept analytics cookies.

Cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work are always on. No analytics or tracking scripts load until you choose "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you choose "Reject," we remember that choice and no analytics scripts are loaded. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site.

• HubSpot — our customer relationship management system. Your submission details and photo links are stored on your contact record so our crew can work the job.
• Lovable Cloud — hosting, database, and photo storage for this website. Uploaded photos are stored in a private bucket and shared internally through expiring links.

These providers process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. We don't allow them to use your information for their own marketing.

• Uploaded photos: kept for up to 12 months after your submission, then deleted. Internal photo links expire after 90 days.
• Submission and contact records: kept for up to 3 years so we have a record of jobs quoted and completed, then deleted or anonymized.
• Privacy and deletion requests: kept as long as needed to show we honored them.

Ask us to delete sooner and we will, unless we're legally required to keep a record.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We don't rent, trade, or hand your contact details to third-party marketers. You can still submit a formal request on our Do Not Sell or Share My Info page and we'll confirm it in writing.

You can ask us to show you what we have, correct it, or delete it — including your photos. Email privacy@theleftoverguys.com, call 440-867-1324, or use the form on our Do Not Sell or Share My Info page. We respond to requests within 30 days and never charge for it. To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message.

Photos are stored in a private, access-controlled bucket. Submission data is transmitted over encrypted connections and access is limited to the people who need it to run a pickup. No system is perfect, but we keep the data we hold to the minimum we need.

This site is not directed to anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email privacy@theleftoverguys.com and we will delete it promptly.

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be noted at the top of the page.
